Warehouse Leak Detection, a specialist service from ADI Leak Detection. When you ring, you reach ADI’s office. The engineer who arrives on site works for ADI, and the report comes from ADI.
Who runs the service
The business was founded in 2011 by Adrian, who set ADI Leak Detection up as a specialist when leaks were still mostly found by digging and opening up. An early user of non-invasive methods, he grew it from a local company into a national one. After his death, ADI Leak Solutions Ltd was formed to keep it going under the same name and principles. Monique Dray, managing director and with ADI for more than ten years, leads the company today.
ADI has more than twenty-five leak investigation engineers covering England, Scotland and Wales. The High Wycombe office books and schedules visits, prepares reports and deals with site managers’ questions. ADI says its engineers are all qualified and registered plumbers. It does not offer general plumbing and does not repair roofs or the building fabric.
ADI’s website refers to over a thousand five-star reviews on Trustpilot. On 14 September 2026, the independent profile showed a TrustScore of 4.7 across 1600+ reviews.
Why warehouses get their own name
A warehouse is not a big house. Its supply pipe crosses a yard full of lorries, its roof covers acres, its floor is a concrete slab with stock on top, and the building earns money every hour it is working. The questions a site or facilities manager asks are different from a homeowner's: who inducts the engineer, what has to be switched off, will the insurer or the landlord accept the report, can you do our other sites.
Warehouse Leak Detection sets out those answers for site and operations managers. Everything behind the name, from the engineers to the terms, is ADI.
Accreditations, insurance and coverage
What a site owner, insurer or operations team usually checks before letting a contractor on site, as ADI publishes it.
- CIPHE
- Holds Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering accreditation. ADI describes itself as one of the only CIPHE-accredited leak detection specialists in the UK.
- WIAPS
- Registered under the Water Industry Approved Plumbers Scheme, covering compliance with the Water Fittings Regulations.
- WaterSafe
- On the WaterSafe register of approved plumbing businesses.
- SPATA
- An approved Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association contractor.
- CSCS
- Engineers hold Construction Skills Certification Scheme cards for working on construction sites.
- Insurance
- £5 million public liability insurance. Risk assessments and method statements are supplied before commercial work.
- Coverage
- England, Scotland and Wales, with regionally based engineers. Availability depends on the postcode.
- Office hours
- Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6:30pm. Calls are recorded for training and quality.
How a site visit gets booked
Call the office with the site address, what has been noticed and any access or operating constraints. They decide which investigation fits, send a quote and book the engineer, then stay with the job through the visit and issue the report. Questions from your insurer or contractor about the findings go to the same team.
